As artists, regardless of the medium, we love the thrill and rush of all of the infinite creative ideas that come to us…but what happens when the thrill is gone and the adrenaline has subsided and you’re only left with you and a blank canvas? How do you scale the innovation cliff that you subconsciously didn’t know was slowly forming under your feet? Fighting fatigue is something that many people struggle with despite seeming to have it all figured out. We’re only human after all, so it’s only natural to feel an energy depletion from time to time.

Getting into photography can become pretty expensive and even more overwhelming when you don’t know where to start. You recognize brand names you’ve seen on an ad here and there and maybe from some idle chit-chat around the office but you’re still not quite sure what’s worth the initial investment which is completely understandable. For starters, I’m a conscientious saver and what I would even like to consider as a smart budgeter. I try to think about the long-term cost-effectiveness of most of my purchases when I think I need to buy something. I’m here to help every lost soul on the path of photography to know what options they have to equip their cameras for success.

Overall, I think the EOS M50 Mark II checks all the boxes for basic camera functions for most photographers with its technical specifications like manual and autofocus, variations in exposure control, and direct printing accessibility. With this becoming the next most used device after my desktop, it’s fair to say that I needed to invest wisely.
